A long time ago is a story of a Young Man who had to leave his father and go out in the world and prove that he was wise or could be wise in handling money. His father did not wish for his son to stay with him in order to inherit his estate. His father instead rather for his son to go out into the world and to do business, to learn how to be wise and grow as a person. The father also wanted his son to be wise and respected among men. Well the young man did just that he went out into the world to make his own way and he came back to his father and presented himself to his father, to tell his father what all has happened to him.
He had to prove to his father that he is worthy of handling his father’s vast estate. In which he did handle his father's estate because he has proved himself. His father gave him before he left a bag of gold and a clay tablet with wisdom on it. And so when the boy came back to his father he told his father the story of what he went through. He said he had wasted the gold.
That was the first thing he has done. He said the gold has fleed from him just as a rabbit flees from a young boy. Well to make a long story short the young man has gotten his gold back. It was different from the gold he received from his father since he had blown all the gold he got from his father. But he learned how to make gold work and how to make it multiplier so he earned all his gold back.
So when he presented himself to his father he returned two bags of gold instead of just one. He wanted to demonstrate to his father how much more valuable the wisdom was to him than the bag of gold. In other words what the young man was saying is that it was the clay tablet with the wisdom on it was more valuable than any amount of gold. So in life today, it’s the wisdom that is more valuable than gold or money. You here on the news that the stock market is up or down.
You hear about the price of gold on the metal market reports. You hear how the price of gold is up or down. We're just so brainwashed to think that gold, other precious metals, real estate, and money have such a high value to them. The only problem was material possessions such as gold is how can you measure with gold the value of wisdom. Since wisdom is used to acquire all things it’s the wisdom that has the greater value as an asset.
There are actually other metals that have a higher monetary value than gold. It’s not that these other metals will be preferred over gold. Gold has always sustained itself over time because of its durable features. But it’s wisdom that has been around much longer than gold has. So if you want to collect something precious, something that can endure the test of time, choose to collect wisdom rather than mere precious metals. You could actually gain more wealth and survive much longer.
